So a couple of weeks ago I spent a very enjoyable weekend down in Hockley at the Infinity Open weekend at Wayland Games. Apart from getting lost on the tube train getting there was relatively hassle free.
On the Saturday I got the chance to meet the awesome Tabitha Lyons and see her fantastic Neoterra Bolt cosplay. I was surprised how light the gun actually was.
In the afternoon and Sunday I got a few games of Infinity using some beautifully painted miniatures, after a month of nothing but losses I was hoping that my fortunes would change and I could get some wins under my belt. Unfortunately my luck seemed to be remaining unchanged until the last couple of games where I managed win. Here are some pictures of the games.
They also had a display cabinet with a few more masterpieces from Corvus Belli, hopefully one day I can get somewhere near this standard of painting.
I had a great time and was a little sad when the time came for me to go and catch my train back home, hopefully I can go to another event like this soon.
